Porterbilt Post & Pole was started in 1965 and was a family owned and operated business.  They produced and sold treated fence posts and rails to mainly the agricultural community.

As the years passed, the business expanded into producing more value added products such as log railing, log detail and furniture.

Today, Ron Porter is the last of the family members involved with the company.   He continues to produce and sell a limited amount of fencing, but focuses more on log railing, detail logs and furniture. 

Porterbilt remains to be successful at utilizing small diameter lodge pole to produce high quality products.
